  4. Installation

  7. Create a directory for TracePlus32/SQL Server, i.e. C:\SST. Copy all     
  8. the files contained in this ZIP file to that directory. To run the TracePlus     
  9. demonstration, select "Run..." from the "File" menu of the Program    
  10. Manager and type:
  11.  
  12.     C:\SST\TPSQL32
  13.     
  14. Press Ok or <ENTER> to start TracePlus32/SQL Server
  15.  
  16. TracePlus32/SQL Server is certified for use with Microsoft SQL Server version 4.21a
  17. or later. For use with Sybase SQL Server, please see the Readme file (select
  18. "View README.WRI" from the Help menu after installing TracePlus).

  20. This program is limited to storing up to 100 most recent trace 
  21. records. The monochrome, file, and printer log options in the Options dialog 
  22. box will also be disabled.

  24. Note: This demonstration does not require NTWDBLIB.DLL on the     
  25. system in order to execute. However, it won't be much of a demon-     
  26. stration!

  28. Sample Log File
  29.  
  30. We have included a trace log file that was generated using the new Export feature, so
  31. that you can see what this feature provides. To load the sample log file, select Import
  32. from the Trace menu, then choose SAMPLE.RDF (it will be in the same directory as
  33. TracePlus). Be sure to view the PC Configuration (This log was generated from the
  34. author's machine).
